In addition to general contracting for new homes and remodels, Hovestol Construction specializes in custom finished carpentry, beautiful custom staircases, and custom cabinetry.

Dan Hovestol is a fourth generation carpenter who has been on job sites since he was two years old. That level of experience and passion can’t be fast-tracked.

We purchased a 25 year old home that needed to be remodeled and we chose Dan to coordinate our project. Dan is very responsive and worked with our vision and timeframe to update and modernize our home. There were many changes along the way and Dan was very flexible. His attention to detail and follow up on the small things after installation brings him highly recommended.

We have been reviewing plans and engineering drawings on the conversion of an 1836 post and beam constructed barn which we plan to start the conversion this fall. Dan has been working with us on the planning for over a year and is a complete professional.
